Frizzy, braids,hair loss?!?!??

In 2005 my family went to Jamacia and i got a bunch of tiny braids in my hair. It looked really cool!! but 2 weeks later when i took them out my hair became really FRIZZY and my hair falls out!! If i just take my hand and pull my hair, a couple strands of hair fall out!!! It really weird!! Any idea why it does that?

This still happens? After 2 years? That wouldn't be from the braids. Initially, after you take braids (especially micros because they're so small and tight on caucasian hair) you will see a lot of hair loss (but keep in mind that's 2 weeks worth of hair loss...at 100 hairs/day for 14 days = 1400 hairs you see coming out at once) and maybe some temporary breakage and frizziness, but after you wash/condition and flat iron for a few days it should have been back to normal.

Now, it may be from heat styling too often.

that's so normal! i did that in the carribean and when i came home, i took them out and i looked like a freakin' LION! lol but for awhile, my hair was constantly falling out. it's normal, your hair was just pulled so tightly. use plenty of conditioner. good luck%26lt;3

Frizzy, braids,hair loss?!?!??

that's happened to me to when my family went on a cruise, i think it's because the braids stay in your hair and you don't brush it forms lots of knots and then they just come out

Whenever You Get Braids It Grows Your Hair Out, The Frizziness Is The After Affect The Braids Give You From Being Bunched Up For So Long And The Reason Your Hair Comes Out Is Because Its Dead Hair, Always After You Take Braids Out You Hair Will She'd The Old Growth To Make Space For The New Growth..
